It is truly inevitable, this bit-by-bit decline into frailty? Not according to a growing number of anti-aging doctor’s and scientists. These experts say that far from being inevitable, aging is a disease, and with the right combination of treatments, including some still in research labs, it’s a disease that can be cured.

As baby boomers hit their half-century mark, and the panic button, scientists have intensified their investigations into how and why we grow old. Many on the cutting edge of this research have reached a paradigm busting conclusion: Aging is a treatable disease. Even more exciting is the news that effective therapies are already available.

The intense interest in negating the debility of old age has spawned a whole new medical specialty. Some in the field believe that imminent discoveries in aging reversal will extend life expectancy indefinitely and beyond all reasonable current expectation.

“Within 30 years we will have a shot at immortality”, declares Ronald Klatz, M.D., a recognized leader in the science of anti-aging and President of the 200 member of American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.”

"Medical knowledge is increasing at an amazing rate - doubling every three and a half years," Klatz says. "Life expectancy in the United States currently is 77 years. With advances in genetic engineering, organ transplantation and molecular machines, in ten years we'll see it jump to 85, and steadily increase from there."

"Soon we'll be running out of reasons to die," continues Klatz. "Within ten years we'll have eliminated heart disease and diabetes. Alzheimer's in fifteen years and cancer will be cured within twenty years. By the year 2047 the leading causes of death will be from accidents, homicide and suicide. Nearly everything else will be preventable."
